The Body Shop is a 7-episode television series based on the true-life story of the Pittsburgh Connection that brings the Goodfellas story full circle.

Meet Jimmy Merletti (name has been changed to protect the guilty) an unassuming auto body man who rises through the Pittsburgh mob to grease the wheels of a cocaine empire.

Jimmy is a boy whose yellow brick road leads past the Red Eagle Club, the headquarters of Pittsburgh’s Larimer Avenue mafia. 

No one works for the mob without paying a price. When he comes to a fork in the road, Jimmy puts the pedal to the metal and doesn’t look back.

And that road ends with a curve you won’t see coming. Fresh and original, based on first-hand accounts of life in the Pittsburgh mob, The Body Shop takes you on a remarkable journey.
